The 22 milers follow the Coast path all the way to the finish. The marathon follows the River Otter to the far side of Otterton, crosses the river and heads back down to join up with the Coast Path all the way to the finish at Axe Yacht Club at the eastern end of Seaton sea front. Both routes follow the Coast Path to the Lime Kiln car park in Budleigh Salterton. In addition to the running events, we also are opening both the marathon and the 22mile events to walkers to enjoy the beautiful scenery. For the last 18 years Sidmouth Running Club have been organising the 22 mile Exe to Axe race along the Coast Path from Exmouth to Seaton. ![]()
